Pee kis kwe tan “Let’s Talk” Society was incorporated in 1983 and is managed by an Elected Board of Directors.
The Society is responsible for providing Mental Health, Addiction, Parent Link and Human Service supports for Metis, Status and Non-Aboriginal population living in Wabasca and area.

Pee Kis Kwe Tan “Let’s Talk” Society offers Free Addictions Counselling Services to anyone in the area of Municipal District Of Opportunity #17 and Bigstone Cree Nation within the Communities of Wabasca-Desmarais and Calling Lake, Alberta.
During this Global Pandemic we have also extended our Services through Outreach providing services to Chipewyan Lake and Red Earth Creek Alberta.
We are Certified Addictions Counsellors who are registered with the Canadian Council of Professional Certification (CCPC) Global and also registered with The Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta.

We offer a variety of Parent/child programs that promotes attachment, early childhood development and quality time.
Parenting programs are offered in group sessions.. The programs we offer are
Active Parenting; The First Five Years (for parents with children 0 to 5 years old)
Active Parenting: NOW – 4th Edition (for parents with children 6 to 11 years old)
Active Parenting: TEENS: (for parents with teen from 12 to 17 years old)
Nobody’s Perfect Parenting (for parents with children 0 to 5 year old)
Provide crisis intervention and education for at-risk youth and elders.
Provide one on one support and outreach.
